Finding your “Clear Channel” – August 7, 2010
Are you feeling unsettled? Are you finding yourself reacting with more intensity and emotion than the situation calls for? Like you’re just not being yourself? It seems like everyone I talk to lately is experiencing these extremes – a generally peaceful and optimistic person feeling waves of fear, anxiety or anger, or even periods of depression.
Indeed, the universe is in a tumultuous time, and I think we’re all feeling the shift of energy. I have a theory that as each of us finds our authenticity and truth; we are like a finely tuned radio picking up our own signal, our perfect frequency. We follow our unique and personal broadcast, if you will.
However, with all the crisis and polarity of emotions in the world right now, these extremes are creating havoc for all of us. Not only the feelings of being out of control with all that Mother Nature is providing with earthquakes and storms, but the global situations of war, hatred and even racism are becoming so exaggerated, the volume is indeed of deafening proportion. It’s as if all these signals are getting louder and louder and creating static on our own radio.
Perhaps we’re picking up signals that aren’t even ours. This, indeed, could explain why sometimes we have inappropriate reactions or feel exaggerated emotion to things; they’re not coming from our personal belief systems or authenticity. Hence, creating even more confusion for us, since we have no frame of reference to where these emotions are coming from, we’re just feeling them.
I’m not normally that frightened when earthquakes rumble through. Hey, I live in California. I choose to live here, this is a reality and there is nothing I can do to prevent or change what may happen. However, a few weeks ago we experienced yet another trembler and I was terrified. I was so confused by my reaction, quite inappropriate for me. So, was I picking up my frequency or was I picking up the collective frequency of all the other people? When I really sorted this out, I calmed down. This was not my fear.
So, when these extreme emotions wash over you, stop and ask are these really my emotions, or am I picking up someone else’s? Really listen to your frequency and try to filter through all the static. I’m not saying we need to be in denial about all the things going on around us, but truly look at your reactions, then decide if they are appropriate with your truth. If they are, that’s fine. If they’re not, it can be easier to let go of the anger, the fear, the anxiety, the hatred, the depression. They’re not yours.
As the song goes, let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. Let us all find that clear frequency on our personal radios with love, peace, joy and STAY TUNED!!

In the book he states that research is proving that it only takes the square root of one percent of any population to shift the energy, to shift a perception, perhaps to move from a fear base to one of love, in that population. This is my goal, to provide these positive affirmations. Together, maybe we CAN change the world. If the earth is approximately 6 billions people, that formula would come out to only 8,000. Abosultely love it! The more and more I look for stuff like this, the more I find that I would not have known about it if I hadn’t found it by accident. This site is one such example. And with all of the internet advertisement spam out there, it is nice to find one that actually has something useful on it for a change, and not someone who is worried about selling high heels or something like that, anything else like that. As for the subject itself, not sure if I can input any real insight that the author did not already provide, but I can tell you that I definitely like the way it reads. The first sentence of the post is right on the mark. Either way, I will definitely add it to my list of feeds so I can stay updated as much as possible. Hopefully you keep it updated enough so it doesn’t stay buried at the bototm of the pile.
